Josef Pill
Friday, 3 p.m., loud blues music fills the office: well, this is when Josef has once again pulled a song from his original 60s jukebox. And immediately he feels even more comfortable than he already does at PKS. He founded the company 10 years ago and since then, he has been enriching his team every day with his remarkable (technical) knowledge and good humor. Josef is the irreplaceable brain behind PKS—not least because PKS unofficially stands for “Pill kümmert sich” (German for: Pill takes care of it).
Michaela Leitner
Michaela has been with PKS since the very beginning. Together with Josef 10 years ago, she laid the foundation for everything that PKS is today. The commercial specialist (// OR business administrator?) brings many years of experience in the industry to PKS every day and is always happy to offer advice and support to all her colleagues. Michaela’s communication skills and expertise are legendary, and with her Bavarian charm, she wins over our international customers. // OR she is well liked by our international customers.
Silke Bauer
Silke is a true Berliner—and even though she has long since settled in Bavaria, she still isn’t quite sure about the typical Bavarian white sausages. She is the calming influence at PKS: a solid rock who nevertheless surprises everyone now and then with a brilliant joke. Whether it’s warehousing, sales, or purchasing, Silke is reliable, always ready to help out, and never too proud to do anything. In her private life, she is constantly on the go internationally – a real party-goer!
Mathias Leitner
Mathias is a long-standing employee of PKS who excels with his sales skills and expertise. The native Bavarian moved to Hesse for love, and when he stops by the PKS office once a month, there is even more joking, laughing, and lunching together than usual. When he’s not entering orders, he loves to keep a record of the best jokes made in the office—and shares them at the next opportunity.
Karin Schieck
Karin is the kind of accountant who makes even the calculator think twice before making a mistake. At PKS, she ensures that everything is in order with iron precision. Strict? Perhaps. But only because she wants everything at PKS to run smoothly — and thanks to her, it does. In short: Karin is a little bit Saxony, a little bit Bavaria, but 100% PKS!
Sabine Terpin
Sabine actually studied interior design — fortunately, she turned her back on the industry and has been contributing her skills to PKS ever since. No weather is too bad for her to bike to work. She is just as disciplined in her work, and every job she takes on has a common thread. She unwinds from her sales responsibilities by traveling with her husband, children, and dog in their camper – sometimes for a quick weekend getaway.
Karin Reinisch
Karin is our language genius: in addition to her native Bavarian, she also speaks French and English, and — with lots of gestures — she even orders her coffee in Italian. In addition to sales, she is responsible for quality management and ensures that the website shines. She loves fashion—but that doesn’t stop her from cycling to work every day on her mountain bike across the fields. In her free time, you’ll usually find her in the garden or in the mountains — anywhere outdoors!
Lucas Holstein
Lucas, our only true Munich native on the PKS team, proves every day that you don’t need coffee to be in a good mood! While the rest of the team sips their caffeinated hot drinks, he beams — probably thanks to his secret superpower: his daily lunch of rice. Open, helpful, and always on the go, he provides support both in Inside and Outside Sales. A colleague who shows that rice sometimes gives you more of a boost than any espresso.
